Painted speaker horn with “crinkle” finish paint, which should help hide any defects.
Replaced bolts in speaker with proper length (i.e., shorter) ones, and reversed them so the extra length is at the top, hidden by the bracket.
Removed the speaker horn for repainting using the recently-purchased “crinkle” finish paint.
Dropped off the whip antenna, now that it’s been cut down to the proper size.
Test fit and adjusted the Visibar. Looks good!
Assembled the speaker and installed it on the bar.
Cut the sides for the radio console.
Gave the speaker bell what I hope will be its last coat. It looks pretty good, but not “perfect.”
Cut antenna to proper length (5’3″).
Dropped off a night stick and aluminum folding clipboard for “ticket book.” These will be displayed in shows.
Made and test fit cardboard templates for the radio console.
