Discovered oil leak
A lot of oil under the engine compartment. Looks like it’s coming from the oil pan. Aaaarrrggghhh!

Tested starting. Started okay, but engine knocking.

Had trouble starting the thing
Had trouble starting the thing. Dave had told me when I picked it up from servicing that there is likely a fuel problem. Could be bad gas, bad fuel lines, crap in fuel tank or a bad fuel pump. Dave thought it could be a flat spot on the cam that drives the fuel pump. Finally got it started by “priming” the carb.

Saw it in person for first time
Talked to Barry. Looks pretty good; better than expected! Needs new windshield (cracked along lower edge; usable for now as-is), and rust-through in right front fender repaired. Needs battery charged or replaced.
