Some places and people with whom I have had good luck dealing*:
Service Shops
- Ray’s Alignments – Ray is an “old school” guy who knows these old cars. Ray and his staff can handle both antique and modern cars. They are all courteous, professional and very knowledgeable, and I cannot think of anyone I would trust more to work on my antique cars — or my daily drivers. If you need service on any generation of automobile, I highly recommend Ray and his staff.

- Police Cars: Restoring, Collecting and Showing America’s Finest Sedans
by Ed Sanow – This must certainly be THE definitive book on the subject of restoring, collecting and showing police cars. If I had had this book when I first started restoring an antique squad car, I would have made some better decisions and done things much differently — like, saving money! If you are involved in restoring or showing old squads, this is definitely the best starting point I have found. This book is a MUST HAVE for anyone involved in restoring, collecting and/or showing an old police car, and could be of interest to anyone interested in police cars.
- Dodge, Plymouth & Chrysler Police Cars 1956-1978
by Ed Sanow & John L Bellah – Another interesting book dealing with Mopar police cars from this era.
